This is a great place for international students. The wall inside is lined up with a list of international universities that have been represented by students. The drinks are normally priced, about €5.00 for a medium beer. However, they have a great deal on food. Perhaps, the best thing about this cozy place is its owner, Mickey, one of the friendliest guys anyone will ever meet. First time there, expect most of the drinks to be on the house. The hospitality at this place is unlikely to be matched anywhere in Rome.
A Salad or Pizza and a Drink (500 ml) will run about €7. International students also benefit from 10% any food purchase.

Primo Cafe
This is a nice little café, offering terrific food at a budget level price. Apart from their inexpensive lunch, which covers anything from pizza to pasta, they have a great dinner buffet which is very hard to beat in Rome. The buffet is not Americanized, so don’t expect fried food everywhere, but rather fresh salads, toast, pasta, antipasto, and so on. They do have fried chicken and such as well for the those Americans seeking some extra grease. The alcoholic drinks are in normal range, around €6.00.

La Florida
This is an awesome pizza shop in Largo Argentina. One of the best deals you may find on pizza, and to top it off, they have a large variety and the pizza always seems to be fresh out of the oven. It’s a perfect place for a quick, inexpensive lunch, and also a perfect place to meet some people, as they’re numerous nationalities to be found here everyday.
